George Asante

George Asante manages the Markets business across Africa excluding SA. He joined the Corporate and Investment Banking team in SA from Ghana where he was the Director: Country Treasurer & Head of Markets for Barclays Ghana. Prior to that he worked in the Emerging Markets Structured Products Group at Barclays Investment Bank (Barclays Capital) based in London with focus on Africa Rates, FX and credit structuring.

George Asante is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc. Accounting degree and an MBA both from the University of Ghana Business School.
