Peter Ngethe Ngure

Peter Ngethe Ngure is a youth leader who is passionate about improving the health governance environment, especially at the grassroots level. He is currently the deputy director of the Y-Act! Youth in Action project at Amref Health Africa. In this role, he conducts policy analysis and training of trainers on budget analysis and policy engagement at national and community levels. He is also an advocacy expert. In 2017, he was named as one of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s ‘120 Under 40: The New Generation of Family Planning Leaders.’ Peter holds a Master of Arts in Community Development and Rural Sociology. Peter Ngethe Ngure aspires to see youth pursue leadership positions and hold the government accountable in Kenya.
