Agnes Mary Yahuma

Agnes Yahuma has 10 years’ working experience in supply chain management in the Kenyan petroleum industry. In her working career, she has occupied various roles in supply management in the different companies that have depended on her skills in decision-making, team leadership, and analytical and customer service. Currently, Agnes is the supply manager at Engen Kenya Limited, a multinational oil marketing company, where she manages optimization in stock quantities, product sourcing, costing, and all-round management of fuel and lubricant products. As a trained mechanical engineer, Agnes Mary Yahuma also mentors secondary school girls, especially those who are interested in pursuing careers in typically male-dominated fields. She plans to use the lessons learnt during the Mandela Washington Fellowship to help her company achieve double-digit growth and deliver healthy returns on investments to the shareholders, despite the constrained, challenging business environment in which they operate.
