Simotwo Chepkirui Faith Zainabu
Simotwo Faith Zainabu is a 21-year-old Kenyan with over four years’ experience in community development and the nonprofit sector. Currently, she is the country director of the Slumcode Organization, where she focuses on enhancing digital literacy by training, supporting, and mentoring young people in grassroots in the information and communication technology sector. She is also the country director of the Voice of Youth Africa; she advocates and promotes good governance, and a participatory democracy by building a strong network of youth leaders across rural and urban communities in Africa. Simotwo Chepkirui Faith Zainabu is in her final semester pursuing her first degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Taita Taveta University College. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Faith plans to expand the Slumcode’s innovative creative hub and its library. She also wants to continue advocating for the rights of female children and mentorship for young women in marginalized communities in Kenya.
