Riantsoa Kanto Najaina Tovohasimbavaka
Riantsoa Kanto Najaina Tovohasimbavaka is a young Malagasy activist for youth. She has over twelve years of experience advocating for girl’s and women’s rights, and over three years of experience in youth empowerment. A dynamic change maker, she is now the Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at Youth First, a youth-led Malagasy organization focused on youth empowerment. In addition, she has successfully worked in the positions of Youth Program Manager while chairing the board of Directors. Recently graduated, Riantsoa Kanto Najaina Tovohasimbavaka holds a master’s degree in Project Management. Her professional and academic background has deepened her expertise on youth and gender programming and widened her skills in project development, project cycle management, finance, and administration. Najaina is motivated and engaged in youth development and engagement as she sees the value and power youth have to create a more peaceful, inclusive, fair, and developed world. Upon the completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship(Africa), she plans to develop an international exchange program that will enable Malagasy youth to exchange and learn from the other regions of the world.
