Olivia Rakotomalala
Olivia Rakotomalala has over five years’ work experience in the development sector, particularly in natural resource management. She currently works as a consultant for the World Bank office in Madagascar in the environment and extractive industries sectors, and as a governance and electoral technical advisor for a local NGO. Olivia Rakotomalala is responsible for designing and managing projects, liaising with government and partners, and providing policy advice. Olivia holds a Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford and is completing her distance MA in Public Policy and Management from the London School of Oriental and African Studies. Upon completion of the Fellowship, she hopes to establish a think tank to produce local solutions to local problems and will advocate for policies that promote democracy, good governance, and public sector effectiveness to ensure sustainable growth and shared prosperity in Madagascar.
