Vitumbiko Fyness Zgambo
Vitumbiko Zgambo is a Horticulturalist with five years’ experience in the horticulture industry. Vitumbiko believes that intensification of high-value horticultural crops at the grassroots level is the way to develop agro-based economies. She is the founder of Mivi investments, an agribusiness enterprise that is involved in organic farming, mobile extension services, and agricultural consultancy and training. Vitumbiko is a 2016 Cohort Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) Entrepreneur. Recently her company Mivi Investments partnered with Self Help Foundation, an organization which advocates for social-economic youth empowerment through agri-based Income generating activities. Together they are training youth farmers in agriculture and linking them to markets. Her participation in the Mandela Washington Fellowship will facilitate a platform for her to enhance her facilitation skills and agriculture experience. Vitumbiko would like to engage with different partners in promoting and Investing in agro-based youth clubs for the development of the country.
