Nana Salama Haidra
Nana Salama Haidra has 10 years of experience in journalism and communications. Nana is presently parliamentary assistant for the National Assembly of Mali’s committee on constitutional laws, law, justice, human rights and institutions of the republic. Nana is also communication director of the NGO International GAIA Vaccine (a global alliance to immunize against AIDS). Her mission is to reduce the incidence of infectious diseases that disproportionately affect the underserved, and promote the development of Mali towards global relevance. Nana is a graduate from the University of Bamako with a master’s in Public Law and has a second master’s in Communication from the African Institute of Management in Dakar. She has an MGO/MBA in Organization Management from the University of Chicoutimi, Canada, in addition to an MSc. Nana Salama Haidra hopes that the new knowledge and networks gained through the Mandela Washington Fellowship will help her to promote political communications in Mali.
