Bady Hamma
Bady Hamma has six years of experience in humanitarian work with NGOs and the United Nations Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) in the sector of local development and governance, conflict mitigation, and consolidating social cohesion. Currently, Bady Hamma is a Community Liaison Assistant for the Civil Affairs Division of MINUSMA, where his work involves liaison between communities, civil society, local authorities and the Mission to build trust. He works on disseminating and implementing the Peace Agreement and above all to raise awareness on the protection of civilians and human rights, especially those of vulnerable groups such as women and children. Bady has a Degree in Public Law from the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences of the University of Bamako, focused on the mechanisms of control over natural resources. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship(Africa), Bady will continue his involvement in the community through youth advocacy, social justice work, fighting against corruption and promoting human rights.
