Selly Amal Kerim
Selly Amal Kerim is the author of the first academic survey in Mauritania on governance and living conditions. In France, she completed a doctorate degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Financial Markets, Financial Risk and Banking Risk Analysis. Selly Amal Kerim also completed a bachelor program in Finance and in Business Management at the University of Québec and holds a certificate from Calgary University. During her studies in Canada, Selly was a teacher, an assistant to a professor and a proofreader. She did an internship with Central Bank of Mauritania and with The Bank Société Générale-La Défense in Paris. Selly has three years of experience in local development. She also takes care of the professional integration of young women and socially vulnerable children in Mauritania. She teaches them civic education, capacity building, the role of institutions: knowledge of rights and duties and also how to be a modern citizen. Stayed in Africa.
