Sandrine Marie Beatrice Ah-Choon

Sandrine Marie Beatrice Ah-Choon works in the monitoring and evaluation unit at PILS, an NGO working in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Mauritius. Sandrine Marie Beatrice Ah-Choon is responsible for designing, and putting in place, monitoring and evaluation tools and processes with the contribution of two other people in the team. The role of her unit is also to ensure the flow of good quality data from the field to the reporting phase and a major part of her work consists in the monitoring of activities for the Global Fund, as PILS is currently the principle recipient for civil society in Mauritius. This part of the job also consists of empowering the sub-recipients in monitoring and evaluation. Recently, the work consisted of being increasingly involved in community research with the aim of increasing knowledge and formulating recommendations for a quality response to the HIV/AIDS situation in the country.
