Koushul Narrain
Koushul Narrain has over seven years of experience in conducting research on national issues in the public sector. He is currently working as a researcher at the Mauritius Research Council, where he leads pioneering projects such as the National Patriotic Service, National Innovation Challenge, Grassroots Community Developmental Research, Marine Renewable Energy, and the Ocean Economy. He is also involved in setting up the Mauritius Renewable Energy Agency. He is a volunteer youth leader for the Mauritius Society for Quality Control Circles, which aims to develop a culture of quality in the youth and in communities through civic involvement. Koushul Narrain holds a master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Mauritius and is currently studying for a doctorate with the aim of improving food sovereignty for Mauritius. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Koushul envisages pursuing research in food security, renewable energy, community development, and national service. Stayed in Africa.
