Drucila Catarina Jose Meireles (Dru)

Drucila Catarina Jose Meireles (Dru)is a youth programs officer and trainer at Lemusica, Chimoio and has five years’ experience in the thematic areas of conflict resolution, human rights, and girls’ and women’s issues. Her duties are conducting counselling for all age groups with different types of problems, conflict resolution in the community tribunals, and training her fellow colleagues, and the youth, on various topics related to their thematic areas. She also elaborates monthly, trimestral, and annual reports to her superiors. She did primary and secondary education until grade 10 and can speak Portuguese, English and three local languages. Drucila Catarina Jose Meireles (Dru) has some working knowledge on Microsoft and Excel. When she returns to her country after the Fellowship, she plans to dedicate herself to activities related to the empowerment of girls and women. Stayed in Africa.
