Breznevia Do Rosario Da Costa Gemo Mascarenhas completed her Bachelor’s degree at Eduardo Mondlane University where she studied Sociology. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Management at the Oil and Gas University of Liverpool. Breznevia started her community development work with a local NGO called Community Development Foundation (FDC). She assisted local governments on the issue of vulnerable and orphaned children with HIV/AIDS. Breznevia Do Rosario Da Costa Gemo Mascarenhas previously worked as an Environment Consultant at Impacto Lda, focusing on socioeconomic profiling and baseline studies, social impact assessments, and community and public consultations. Currently, she works as a Community Relations Manager for a coal mine project at Minas de Revuboe where she manages resettlement, compensations, and community and government relations.
