Momade Hassane Mussagy
Momade Hassane Mussagy is a medical professional with over seven years of work experience in various fields of public health, including women and children’s health and community-awareness programs, and particularly in the care and treatment of patients with HIV/Aids, tuberculosis, and malnutrition. Through peer education and volunteer activities, he works to link community services to national health services. Momade Hassane Mussagy works at a local NGO, the Center for Collaboration in Health, as a maternal and child-health provincial program manager (MCHPPM), where he is responsible for coordinating, planning, leading, monitoring, and evaluating programs to eliminate mother-to-child transmission of HIV and other community programs. After completion of the Fellowship, Momade plans to return to his work and to draw up a project to help HIV-positive pregnant women get support from their partners during pre-natal care while their babies are being diagnosed.
