Pujatura Kerii Kaveterua
Pujatura Kerii Kaveterua is a 23 year old from Windhoek in Namibia and project coordinator for the Namibia Women Association. She has five years of experience volunteering for organizations focusing on access to education for girls and has been placed in the Civic Leadership Track. Her current position allows her to interact with girls and young women, learn about their needs and the challenges in their communities, and share information about educational and civil development opportunities. Pujatura Kerii Kaveterua is a media graduate from the College of The Arts, and is part of a group of young people that established The Paradigm Shift Movement, designed to inspire change and social reform using short video clips and radio episodes to address immediate issues faced by the Namibian community such as rape and gender-based violence. Upon completing the Mandela Fellowship, she plans on expanding the work of the Paradigm Shift Movement.
