Hazel Langa

Ms Hazel Langa is Public Relations and Marketing expert with over 18 years of experience in the field of media, marketing and communications in the private and higher education sectors. She holds a Diploma in Marketing from the Institute of Marketing Management (IMM) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and Business Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN).

She joined UKZN in 2004 as an Events Coordinator honing her skills in the planning and execution of a variety of events and then joined the College of Law and Management Studies as a Public Relations Officer where she expanded her scope into branding and reputation building. She was appointed as College Public Relations Manager in 2011, in this leadership role she is responsible for the development and strategic direction of the College’s brand identity. Her other leadership experience in higher education includes Acting as UKZN’s Director of University Relations for a period of six months in 2017.
