Salissou Mahamane Mourtala

Mourtala Salissou holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He is an assistant manager in the supply chain department of SOMAIR. He is also responsible for health safe environment (HSE) correspondence. As the founder and former president of JCI Arlit, Mourtala was elected as the JCI Niger national vice-president. He is also a JCI Niger certified trainer. Mourtala works on youth empowerment and civic involvement as the president of the Arlit youth town council and as a member of the town’s citizen watch. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Mourtala will coach youth on running for local political office during the upcoming elections to increase the amount of youth holding elected offices. He will also create a public management training program.
