Heribert Mbila Bassouka
Heribert Mbila Bassouka, After five years in agribusiness and two years in microfinance, including community growth, Heribert Bassouka Mbila is currently the chairperson of FODAM Microfinance, where his job is to implement the strategic plan and ensure policy in project- funding for young entrepreneurs. At the same time, he works as a process engineer for an oil and gas company, where he designs production systems. As a volunteer, he teaches engineering subjects at undergraduates at a technology institute that is facing a deficiency in teachers. Heribert Mbila Bassouka took the lead in creating the Congolese Engineer National Council in order to address poverty. Heribert received an Engineering degree in Industrial Systems from the Central Africa Catholic University, and possesses a master’s in Petroleum Engineering from the Heriot-Watt University. After the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Heribert plans to grow his business and promote entrepreneurship through FODAM Microfinance, with a focus on the underprivileged.
