Lois Auta

Lois Auta has over five years of experience in the community development sector advocating for the betterment of persons with disabilities. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Cedar Seed Foundation, an organization that promotes the participation of women with disabilities into human rights based development in Nigeria. Lois is responsible for initiating and implementing empowerment programs. Lois Auta holds a diploma in Public Administration and is currently studying to receive a bachelor’s of science degree in Public Administration from the University of Abuja. Upon her return from the Washington Fellowship, she plans to create more advocacy programs focused on education, democracy, and good governance, and create employment opportunities for women with disabilities in the Northern part of Nigeria.
