Emana Ekong Imona

Emana Ekong Imona has over seven years’ experience in retail sales, obtained in the oil and gas/defense sectors. Currently, Emana Ekong Imona is a DCO/liaison officer for NNPC Retail Floating Mega Stations, where she is responsible for the management of fuel stations on water. With inter-personal skills, she maintains a smooth business environment in the Niger-Delta region, where militancy is common. Besides her strong drive to uphold due process and procedures in corporate environments, she is passionate about girl-child education and poverty alleviation. Ema holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from the Nigerian Defense Academy, Kaduna. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Ema intends to continue in the development of an agro-scheme, where parents and sponsors of underprivileged girls are provided with farmlands, seedlings and assistance, with which they can support their children’s education. She will also advocate for the enforcement of codes of best practice in Nigeria‘s corporate environment.
