Benjamin Kambai Dankaka

Benjamin Kambai Dankaka is the founder of Global Leaders and Readers Club, an NGO that promotes reading culture and trains young people on leadership. Dankaka acquired his first degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, and then obtained a post-graduate diploma in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism in Abuja. Benjamin Kambai Dankaka has over eight years’ work experience in social development and in 2008 served as member of Debate to Action, Nigeria, a British Council and World Bank Initiative aimed at youth leaders in Africa. He has also served as a legislative aide in the Nigerian National Assembly where he acquired experience in processing legislative instruments. After completing the Fellowship, Benjamin plans to further his work of promoting reading culture by establishing school reading clubs. He also plans to promote legislative proposals aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s educational system.
