Olumide Kola-Lawal
Olumide Kola-Lawal is a visionary leader, public speaker, and politician. He has over five years’ experience in policy formulation and youth advocacy. He works at the National Assembly as a legislative assistant, where he is responsible for drafting legislative bills as well as coordinating and scheduling the introduction of legislation in the chamber. As a grassroots politician and dedicated democrat, he believes that political leaders ought to work towards the ‘common good’ of all stakeholders. In 2015 he aspired to represent his constituency at the State House of Assembly. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Olumide hopes to be a legislator promoting policies that strengthen democratic institutions and creating opportunities for youths to be self-reliant. Olumide Kola-Lawal is an alumnus of the University of Lagos and a member of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria.
