Emmanuel Ebuka Nnadi

Nnadi Emmanuel Ebuka is a practicing medical laboratory scientist and the director and founder of Bonitas Medical Diagnostics, a Nigerian healthcare start-up. The company assists in patient management through the provision of quality, affordable, and reliable diagnostic services. Emmanuel Ebuka Nnadi is responsible for designing new test procedures, performing routine laboratory investigations for patients, training students, and coordinating medical outreach for nongovernmental organizations. As part of his civic engagement volunteerism, Nnadi organizes peer-education training for youth with an emphasis on reproductive health and menstrual hygiene. His leadership is guided by combining public health advocacy with practical real-time solutions for public health challenges in his community. An example of this was his research on snakebite accidents, which was published in the 2016 European Scientific Journal. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Nnadi will apply the mentorship and training he gained to ensure the innovative improvement and sustainability of his projects, which he believes will benefit Nigeria’s health care system.
