Mojisola Esther Ojebode

Mojisola Esther Ojebode has two years of experience conducting research on the biological control of pest insects and the assessment of treated crops, especially cowpea seeds. Mojisola Esther Ojebode is the founder of Moepelorse Bio Resources, a startup venture for the production, sale and distribution of healthy, environment-friendly organic pesticides made from medicinal plants. She is involved in the development of biopesticides and the coordination of capacity-building programs for legume and cereal crop farmers in South West Nigeria. Mojisola holds a master’s degree in Nutritional and Industrial Biochemistry from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she plans to continue her work offering healthy, environment-friendly solutions to the problem of insect pests attack on food crops in storage, and thereby _ncreasing both the income of local farmers and the availability of nutritious food crops in Nigeria.
