Mirriam Papo (CA) SA

Mirriam Papo holds a BCom – Accounting from UCT, a BCompt (University of Johannesburg), a BCTA (UJ), a BCom Hons/CTA (UKZN), an APT Financial Management (UJ/UCT JV) and a CA (SA).

Mirriam Papo is the Chief Financial Officer of IDF Capital. In this role, she is responsible for the full accounting function, Treasury management, HR, compliance and system development and implementation. She started her career at Absa Ltd in 1999 as a trainee Chartered Accountant.

Upon completion of her articles, she joined BDFM Publishers (Pty) Ltd (publishers of BusinessDay and Financial Mail) as a Management Accountant in October 2002. She formed part of the Exco Team of BDFM Publishers and African Business Channel (Pty) Ltd (broadcasters of Summit TV now BusinessDay TV, the Home Channel and Ignition). She was promoted to Financial Manager in July 2005 and was also appointed to the board of Big News for Small Business (Pty) Ltd, the position she held until 2013, when she joined IDF Capital in South Africa.
