Abel Sithole

Abel Sithole is the The Principal Executive Officer at The Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is Africa’s largest pension fund.  He assists the Board in meeting its fiduciary and oversight obligations in line with the GEP Law, and other laws and regulations. The Principal Executive Officer also represents GEPF on a policy level, and has the overall responsibility for financial reporting and disclosure, consolidating and amending the Fund’s rules and valuating liabilities and assets. 

Abel Sithole implements all Board decisions, gives effect to the Board’s strategy and is further supported in this role by the South African Executive team.
