Dr ST Cornelius

Dr ST Cornelius is part of the Board Sub Committees: Human Resources Committee; Land Bank Audit and Finance Committee and was appointed on 01 June 2018.

Dr ST Cornelius is a veterinarian with extensive management experience in the agricultural and biological fields. His previous positions have included Head of Department (Superintendent General) of Agriculture Conservation and Environment (now called Agriculture and Rural Development) in the Gauteng Provincial Government.

Prior to that, he held positions as DDG in the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Director of the Veterinary Research Institute and subsequently Group Executive: Livestock at the Agricultural Research Council. He is currently a senior lecturer in veterinary physiology at the University of Pretoria in South Africa and he holds a directorship in Onderstepoort Veterinary Pharmaceuticals.
