Bishen Singh

Mr. Bishen Singh has over 20 years within the finance field and is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Group Executive: Finance and Business Systems at the National Research Foundation. Experienced in Finance and Accountancy. Mr. Singh has worked at institutions such as the SA Post Office and Post Bank before joining the National Research Foundation,South Africa working under the finance unit.

Mr.Bishen Singh’s board and committee experience includes being a member of the DUT Council where he currently serves on Audit, Risk, Finance,
and Investment Committee. He is also currently the Chairman of the NRF Pension Fund, the NRF Post-Retirement Medical Aid Committee, the Tertiary Education Network, and the Square Kilometre Array Organisation boards.

He holds an MBA from the University of Pretoria, a B Com Honours in Accounting and a B Com from UNISA.
