Kholly Zono

Kholly Zono holds a BSc Honours degree and Masters of Technology degree in Chemistry as well as an MBA and a BTheol degree.  Kholly Zono
worked as a Lecturer and Research Associate at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.  He joined PetroSA as a Research Scientist in 1998 and has served in various internal roles such as a Chemist, Scheduler, Production Planner and LP Modeller, Planning and Optimisation Manager. Mr Zono has also held key roles in strategic projects; these include Master plan development, representing PetroSA, South Africa. on various engagements with the Department of Energy. He has acted in the role of Vice President: Operations from June 2014 until October 2017 and in November 2017 Mr Zono was appointed Acting Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) (i.e. combined role) until November 2018.

He was appointed to the position of COO in January 2018 a position that he holds to date.
