Michael Nene

Michael Nene has more than 40 years of experience in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry. He started his career at Sapref where he worked in the Production section of the Lubricant Oil Plant. Michael Nene joined Mossgas during the construction and commissioning of the Gas-To-Liquid (GTL) Refinery in Mossel Bay in 1990, and he was a Senior Operator in the Synthol Unit. He went on to occupy various management positions within the company culminating in the current position of Production Manager: GTL Refinery, South Africa

Mr. Nene was appointed as the acting as Vice President: Operations in January 2018.
