Rouge

Rouge

Rouge was inspired as a child by Lauryn Hill and Kanye West, her compositions combine elements of rap, dance, and hip-hop. Rouges’ tremendous vocal execution and punch lines has now seen her join part of the same extended family as her icon, Lauryn Hill, truly the stuff dreams are made of.

Although Rouge only wrote her first song at the age of 19, Rouge had been taking part in acting, public speaking and poetry, not knowing she was preparing herself for what was to come.

She has recently graduated a degree in Drama at the University of Pretoria.
She sometimes incorporates some french in her lyrics because of her Congolese origins.
