Haroon Takalia

Haroon is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a MBA from the University of Witwatersrand. He has over thirty five years of experience in the auditing and management fields. He practices as an independent auditor with several high profile clients such as the Tennis South Africa, Fair Price Furniture, Devland Cash and Carry Group and Dursot Foods.

He has various business interests and was appointed as an Independent non-executive to the board of Ascension Limited in May 2012. He also serves as an Independent non-executive director in listed AH Vest Ltd (Alljoy) since October 2012.

He is actively involved in religious and educational activities both locally and abroad.

He was appointed chairman of the Audit Committee and as non-executive director of Esor group in November 2017.
