Craig De Sousa presently finds himself amongst Cape Town’s top 5 djs, nominee for dj of the year in SA City Life Magazine. His delectable mix of ‘percussive funk’ can be best described as organic sounds with interesting changes. He has been able to carve himself a niche within the ever-growing ‘deep house’ scene in Cape Town,South Africa.

Craig De Sousa needs no introduction. His love and passion, for music shows in each performance as a house DJ, radio presenter and producer. Since 1996, Cape Town has provided him with a platform to play sets in top clubs locally, nationally and abroad. His fusion of deep and electronic house can be best described as organic sounds with interesting changes.

Craig has had residency’s at most house clubs in and around South Africa. Giving him the opportunity to play his music to fans around SA.

Craig has supported international acts such as Deep Dish, Jeff K & Tim Paris from Silver Network, Cyril K from Dialect, Bruno Banner & Dj Fudge (Troublemen), Andy Riley & Laurence Ritchie from Drop Music, Roberto Mello from Classic, Ralph Lawson & Murray Richardson from 2020 Vision, DJ Yellow from Africanism, Darshan from Metro Area, Kaskade, Troydon and many more.

He has been presenting with Dino Moran as the ‘Night Watchmen’ on Good Hope FM every Friday and Saturday night from 22h00 to 02h00 for last three years and still going strong.

Together they released their first double disk album in 2005. They are planning to launch a 2nd album with a possible world tour.

He has had extensive coverage on Radio stations such as Radio FG Paris (Troublemen), 5FM (Roger Goode “Surgery”), Y-FM (G-Forces Y-Ask-Y.)

Craig has also appeared on The Castle Loud T.V. Show with a live interview and performance.

Craig released his 5th Cd mix called “Everything” in October 2007 by November his title track “Everything” was play listed on 5fm and later voted on the Vodacom Hi5 Charts where his track steadily climbed and stayed at No.1 for 2 consecutive weeks… congratulations.

Recently Craig played at all the T20 Cricket World Cup games at Newlands in Cape Town.
