A trend in the requests of having Caitlin improvise over DJs lead to the realisation that; whilst the concept was great – in practice the collaborations were too random, lacked chemistry and didn’t allow Caitlin to musically perform to the fullest of her abilities.

With the ability to blend seamlessly into any event, they create the ideal soundscape for your social sundowners; set the tone for your corporate-chill or bring the party to your beach playground. DeVille is a fresh collaboration between electric violinist Caitlin; and DJ/Producer Vaughan.

Scoring a residency at Egypt’s super club ‘Tabla’ over Summer 2016 as their first gig was just the start of something great. Being given the chance to performe at the Stanbic Music Festival in Zambia for two years in a row for crowds of up to 10,000 – opening for International acts UB40 & Boys II Men. From club gigs in Delhi to beach parties in Mauritius and a jungle jam in Bandipur, DeVille is on the rise and is based in South Africa.

The potential however was undeniable. After much experimentation Caitlin & Vaughan created a visually engaging act with a strong musical core.
