DJ Devoted

DJ Devoted (born Sakhile Mbatha 02 November 1990) is a South African Music Producer, Songwriter and DJ. He began producing in his home studio around 2006 and has released singles since 2011. DJ Devoted has his big break in 2011 when he got signed by New York based DJ/Producer Ian Friday to release his debut single ‘Soul On Fire’ with Kholi Twala on vocals. The song sold well internationally in the house music scene and 2012 saw the release of remixes by international producers like Stephen Rigmaiden(USA) and Soulstar Syndicate (Switzerland). With about 100k plays on youtube the song has definitely been a head for DJ Devoted. In 2016 He collaborated with Mbali M on ‘Promises’ and 2017 saw the of ‘Nawe’ which has been received well by people.

Fundamentals (2013) – Influenced the culture of the people and gave rise to a dance called Chikwaa. It was the biggest song in Pretoria South Africa in 2013/2014, the capital of house music.

Ngibizwa ft. Kholi Twala (2013/2014) – Released with UK label ‘Tribe Records’ as a single with international remixes.

Promises ft. Mbali M (2016) – Released as promo single for DJ Devoted 2016 Durban July Tour.

Nawe ft. Mbali M (2017) – Released as single. Number 5 top House single charts in South Africa, by I Love SA House Music. Received highly positive reviews from music critics and fans alike.
