Peter Kanda is the Head of Information Services at Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital which is Largest Children’s Hospital in East and Central Africa. He is responsible in ensuring smooth ICT operations, innovation and efficiency across the hospital’s 15 sites spread throughout the cities of Nairobi and Mombasa. Kanda a big technology enthusiast with background in Software Engineering and is certified in IT Service managementis passionate about using IT to advance and enhance positive intelligent outcomes. Peter Kanda also believes that AI, Telemedicine and Block chain will be the next disruptive technologies in healthcare and healthcare providers who take on this technologies will be more efficient, sustainable and profitable.
