DJ Leila

Winner of Stones and SAB Sisters of Spin 2006, which is a national female dj competition where hundreds of ladies entered nationwide, this competition was judged by DJ’s such as Lady Lea and 5fm DJ’s.

Since then DJ Leila has been a judge for this competition annually and nationwide. She completed a radio presenting course with lecturers such as Alex J, Mark Pilgrim and more top presenters, this was done at various radio stations, she also completed professional DJ courses . She has been privileged enough to broadcast on 5fm on women’s day 2006, a few ladies were chosen, this was pre recorded. She has also been involved at various internet radio stations (She has a soft spot for radio).

She believes that music connects people and that energy is contagious, she makes music in any style required, Electro/Funky/Tech house, 80’s,90’s, Commercial, Old School and more, you could say she’s an All rounder, and will keep your crowd happy. DJ Leila has played alongside top artists and played in various clubs nationwide and in South Africa. She has also done functions with some well known Afrikaans artists and can be your typical Boeremeisie if you need one for a function.
