Lefa Pike

Lefa Pike was deemed to be crowned the first black South African Idol in the 2011 South Arican Idols, Arguably the most talented vocalist that has hit the idols since its inception, popularly known as Soet kind, Lefa Pike made it to the Top 5 of the Competition, Ironically born and bred in Kimberley where Diamond were discovered, we can safely say the South African Music Industry has discovered a Gem.

Lefa’s musical career started at an early age, he later joined a musical band in Kimberly called Green Orange, the band played acoustic and soul music and performed at Corporate Events ,Festivals and Weddings in his Hometown.

In 2011 Lefa auditioned for the popular Mnet Reality TV show South African idols with the hopes of winning the sought after Idols crown, he made it to the Top five of the competition, The powerful vocalist performed live with the likes of The Parlotones and Loyiso Bala during his appearances on the Popular Show Idols and these performances were a hit with the audiences and the judges on the show and are now popular downloads on YOUTUBE, Since his appearance on Idols.

Lefa has been busy performing at a lot of corporate events in Government and Private sector and Festival such as the Diamond and Doring in his home town of Kimberly and was a special guest at DJ Sbu’s platinum celebration, The sky is indeed the limit for this gem from Diamond city of Kimberly.
