Steven Lee Lewis

Steven Lee Lewis was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has been entertaining audiences for most of his life. His interest in music started at an early age when his mother would play Michael Jackson videos all day.

During this time he found his love for performing and dancing, drawing inspiration from both local and international artists. At fourteen Steven began taking part in local talent shows around Johannesburg and he was hooked.

Steven Lee studied Sport Management at RAU University and auditioned for the RAU Song and Dance academy, landing a lead role in the stage production of District 6.

In 2009 Steven entered an online competition with Motorola to help WYCLEF JEAN and FERGIE, of the famed group The Black Eyed Peas, find the next ‘Motorokr Star’.

Out of thousands of entries Steven Lee ended up on top, jetting off to New York City to record a track written and produced by Wyclef Jean with vocal production by Fergie.

Steven has worked at KFM radio, performed at corporates, clubs, festivals, talent shows and even featured in a local TV series, League of Glory on Mnet. He was casted as Michael Jackson in the ‘The Michael Jackson experience Tour’ in Cape Town.

In 2014, Steven entered the first “X Factor South Africa” with his boy band – FOUR. The Group won the competition and received a recording deal with Sony.

During his time with FOUR he performed in numerous shows and events which included opening up for international artists, NICKI MINAJ and ONE DIRECTION.

In August 2017, the band decided to part ways and Steven’s solo career has kicked off with a bang, with performances at Emperors Palace, Jeep Midrand (Blaze Models against Abuse, Fashion Show) and Capitec Bank. Steven’s solo act includes dynamic Electric live percussion, smooth Keys and with the addition of some insanely talented dancers, his unique and energetic performances promise to WOW any audience.
