Victor Kgomoeswana
Victor is a professional conference speaker and MC/programme director as well as a TV anchor. He is also a media commentator, author, workshop facilitator and consultant on African business development. He co-produces and presents ‘Africa Business News’, a weekly round-up on CNBC Africa.
Victor’s business book, ‘Africa is Open for Business – Ten Years of Game-Changing Headlines’ was published by Pan MacMillan and summarised the continent’s rising and key positive trends in the decade to 2013.
Organisations for which he has facilitated events include the Trade & Investment Summit for the Office of the Premier in Gauteng, the Black Management Forum (BMF), the Annual Audit Committee Conference by Nkonki Inc., the National Treasury’s Financial Management Improvement III workshop for municipalities in the North West, several conferences for the Association of Black Investment & Securities Professionals (ABSIP), the African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA) and Transnet. He has addressed executive committees and leadership teams or facilitated conferences on African business for such multinationals as Massmart, Barclays, FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank, PepsiCo, Voltex, Vodacom, Schneider Electric, Française, Allan Gray/Orbis Foundation, SA Autoweek, SAMRO, among others. He also organised and led a trade conference on regional economic integration in East Africa with the Rwanda Development Board and the South African High Commission in Kigali.
The former Business Development Executive for PPC Ltd, a cement, Victor also served the CEO of the PPC Ntsika Fund (Pty) Ltd. Before PPC, he was Associate Director at Ernst & Young’s Africa Business Centre. He founded and presented the weekly Africa Business Report on Talk Radio 702’s ‘Money Show’ and was heard on SAFM. He featured regularly on many other radio and TV stations such as CNN, SABC TV, eTV, East Coast Radio and Lesedi FM.
