Jan Wegelin

Jan Wegelin is the managing director of MarkData Pty Ltd. After almost 30 years young has gained significant experience across social, economic and behavioral science research across 22 markets and five continents. He is a multi award-winning researcher which includes big data analysis and for coordinating the development of entrepreneurial mindsets, with College of Charleston which won the GEN Compass Award for research champions in Istanbul 2018. Jan is the lead researcher of the brand South Africa domestic perceptions research programme for the past six years won the best overall paper and Kantar innovation awards at the 2018 SAMRE conference for segmenting the South African nation into nationhood behavioral groups. He is a SAMRA Accredited researchers since 2011 and a member of international research organization ESOMAR . As a cl classically trained market researcher, starting his career as a coder and interviewer in the early , 1990s he’s a generalist of note . He also helped develop the protection of personal Information Act framework for the market research industry.
