Hon. Mary Francis Masanja

Mary Francis Masanja is the Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism since 2020. Previously, she served as Principal accountant for Law Reform Commission of Tanzania. She also served as District Treasurer in Misungwi District, Handeni District council, Morogoro Municipal council, and Mkuranga District council.  In addition, she served as Internal Auditor and an Accountant in Manyoni District Council.

Professionally, she hold CPA (T) from National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA), Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Mzumbe University Morogoro and Advanced Diploma in Accountancy. She is conversant with most of financial management Systems and software used in Public sector. She has participated

in International forums within and outside Tanzania.
