Firdose Abdool Razak
Firdose Abdool Razak-Moola graduated at UKZN and holds an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Majoring in Psychology and Social Work.
Moola is a Mental health therapist, Social worker in Private practice and has achieved a high level of expertise within her years of assisting the community at large. She started off at Child Welfare as a Social worker and was the youngest appointed Executive Director of Child Welfare Durban and District, which is the largest Child Welfare in the Southern hemisphere. She later branched off into opening her own Private Practice and is the Managing Director and Founder of KZN Advisory Centre, providing Counselling, therapy, Mental health and wellness services to all ages and genders. Specialising in the clinical and forensic fields.
She is vibrant, a go-getter and leaves no stone unturned. She rocks at what she does and more importantly, puts her heart and passion into everything and everyone she comes across. Her passion for people and their wellbeing is what drives her because she is the rainbow after the storm and lives by her motto to spread kindness thus creating a ripple effect, and being an inspiration to many. She also received many honorary awards which speak for themselves such as the Prestige Panache Woman of Wonder award and has also received the SA Heroines awards twice. She truly is a gem and encourages positive change in many people’s lives.
She specialises in family counselling, relationship counselling, Mental health services, Wellness support, care and contact matters, Abuse, trauma and grief counselling, Play therapy and support. Providing both Clinical & Therapeutic intervention to all ages. She offers TeleHealth, online and face to face consultations.
She is an active volunteer in the community, and also does radio talks, community food hamper drives and winter blanket drives to name a few.
Mrs Moola believes that change happens when people are given the guidance they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling, happy lives. She provides an environment of compassion and support to help individuals and families overcome obstacles to move forward and thrive. Moola can offer SA such remarkable potential for growth and leadership, in which we all can learn so much from her and the lives she has assisted.
