NATHI MARAMNCO
After more than twenty years in existence, Quizzical enjoys a solid reputation as an award-winning creative innovator in the industry. Their reel includes hits like Beyond The River, iNumber Number, Intersexions, Heartlines, MasterchefSA, Rhythm City and A Country Imagined, that was presented by Johnny Clegg.
He was previously Managing Director at Zanathi Holdings; Deputy Managing Director – Broadcast and Content at Tiso Blackstar – owners of Times Media Films, Gallo, Ochre, Business DayTV, RiseFM and VumaFM. Before this, he had filled Publisher positions of the Business Day, Financial Mail, Sowetan, Sunday World, Daily Dispatch and EP Herald. He was chairman of RiseFM (former MPower). Until December 2013, he was chairman of the then South African Press Association (SAPA) board. He previously served on the boards of SAARF, SAPA, NASA and PMSA.
Nathi holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) qualification obtained from the University Of Cape Town Graduate School Of Business. His qualifications also include a B. Com (Honours) degree and the Executive Development Programme in Media from the Scandinavian International Management Institute (SIMI), Copenhagen, Denmark.
