Lionel Marumahoko

Lionel Marumahoko is the Mergers & Acquisitions Director for the West Africa Business Unit based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
He has served The Coca-Cola Company for more than 20 years.

Prior to his current appointment, he was the General Manager responsible for volume and profit growth for Coca-Cola in 30 countries across West Africa, Mid Africa and Indian Ocean Islands. He was also General Manager – Still beverages for the Coca-Cola Central, East and West Africa Business Unit headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya.

Lionel Marumahoko previously held the position of Customer & Commercial Leadership Director with Coca-Cola Nigeria Business Unit, following five years as Franchise Director for Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi based in South Africa. He was also responsible for the transition of the Still beverage business from Schweppes Limited to The Coca-Cola Company in 2001.

Lionel holds an MBA from University of Natal, South Africa and a Bachelor of Science Management Degree from University of London, UK. He is an avid golfer and plays tennis.
