Ruschda Ismail

Ruschda joined Dentsu Aegis South Africa as Chief Financial Officer in July 2016, having spent 2 years at John Brown South Africa as Finance Director and 10 years at Media24 in various financial management roles. She is a chartered accountant by profession, and completed her articles at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She serves as Director on a number of boards including John Brown South Africa.

True to form, Ruschda oversees all things financial at Dentsu Aegis South Africa, including corporate reporting to the UK group finance team. She is highly driven, and thrives on the challenge of streamlining processes to maximise efficiencies. She is also passionate about helping people develop their skills and realise their potential.

When she isn’t marshalling the numbers, Ruschda enjoys travelling the world to experience different cultures. “Learning a few words of a foreign language is always great fun, although the first phrase I always seem to learn is, ‘Do you speak english?” She also enjoys watching sport, particularly rugby and soccer.
