Eben Etzebeth

Eben Etzebeth

Eben Etzebeth is a South African rugby player who was born on 29 October 1991 in Cape Town. He did his primary school education at Goodwood Park Primary and his high school at Tygerberg HS.

Eben Etzebeth still played for the South African Under-20 team and the University of Cape Town in the Varsity Cup in 2011, but made a massive impression ever since making his Vodacom Super Rugby debut for the Stormers in 2012. This big and abrasive lock, in the mould of Bakkies Botha, made his Test debut against England in June 2012 and has featured been a Springbok star in his first season of Test rugby. He likes it when the going gets tough and a big future is predicted for the young man from Cape Town, who played Test and Vodacom Super Rugby before getting his first taste of Absa Currie Cup action late in 2012.
