Kgathatso Tlhakudi

Mr Kgathatso Tlhakudi was appointed deputy director-general in 2012. He has held various executive management positions over the years.

Before joining the Department of Public Enterprises he was senior manager: Aircraft Systems Acquisition at Armscor.

His qualifications include a BSc Engineering degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town. He holds diplomas in Project and Acquisition Management from North-West University.

Mr Tlhakudi has a postgraduate diploma in Air Transport Management from the Royal Aeronautical Society in Oxford, United Kingdom, and is also a Sainsbury Fellow at Wolfson College, Cambridge, United Kingdom.
