Mduduzi Shabane

Mr Mduduzi Shabane was appointed director-general in November 2010. He studied Public Management at the Durban University of Technology in KwaZulu- Natal.

He also received different types of training at various institutions, including land management at the University of KwaZulu-Natal; land tenure at the University of Wisconsin in the United States and the Executive Development Programme at the University of Stellenbosch in Cape Town.

As a land activist, Mr Shabane has a wealth of experience in land and agrarian reform in both the public sector as well as the nongovernmental environment.
